food blog days in hamburg - christian rach and the crooked vegetables
Last Saturday, the June 20, 2015 have the Food Blog Days halted in Hamburg. Christian Rach and EMSA were there and have one made it very clear: food waste does not have to be.
True to the motto "After the food is in front of the Food Blog Days Blog Days" took place in Berlin last Saturday of the Food Blog Day held in Hamburg. The day was food waste devoted to the topic.
So it could be our Fresh Ambassador Christian Rach not accept to be personally on the spot to make the food blogger in northern Germany attention to this important issue. Frightening facts and stories of actual shooting is made the listeners of his speech at the beginning of the day clearly: foods are central to life, no disposable products. Their waste has now reached incredible proportions that are ecologically, financially and morally fatal. But we can all do something about it, by storing food properly and keep fresh, to deal with their preparation, and we bear in mind how precious our food is.
Inspired by Christian Rach's words, it was fresh cooking workshop with the hamburger cook and food stylist Eliane "Elli" Muller for some food bloggers to Mission. Crooked cucumbers, flowering broccoli and anything around more advisable cabbage were made into delicious dishes - and for food that would have ended because of their supposed flaw in the barrel or remained the same in the field. The latter caused by the way that it was not easy to get close to thecrooked vegetables. When searching for our miracle Lingen we came eventually but at the Hamburger vegetable suppliers marker and thus on people who consider food waste is equally at heart, like us.
